2016 was a political nightmare of hell we all need to drown away in a bottle of liquor and live music. Oh, forgot to mention, it stretches on this year by scientists adding an extra “leap-second” to the clock. Yeah, you heard that right. When counting down your New Year’s Eve clock, make sure to say, 3, 2, 1, Zero before you kiss or drink. The leap-second is added on December 31st, just after 23:59:59. Instead of seeing clocks rolls from 23:59:59 to 00:00:00, you’ll see, 23:59:60. Cherish that extra second. There’s a 5-year comet swinging by earth that will add the extra second to the year. The comet will only be visible with a pair of binoculars or telescope, get to viewing on the 31st!

Enough of that… here’s a list of the best rock, rap, hip hop, and country shows you can get your hands on to ring in the New Year, 2017!
